#190: Planet Boelex / Live at Netaudio London 2006
M3U FMP3  Tracks : 1

Kahvi is honoured to welcome none other than Planet Boelex to the Kahvi shores. After hearing numerous great releases from other netlabels, Planet Boelex came over to London to perform a live set at the Netaudio Festival in Islington. All the usual qualities are there, epic sounds and textures with the that much polished vibe that we get to hear in Esem's works. A fantastic, 53 minute audio journey into Boelex's works and back.

s a newcomer to the Kahvi Collective my experience in listening to Planet Boelex's release was an intense, and wonderful listening. It showed me that there are still people in the world making modern, fascinating electronic music that really know their stuff. I was constantly reminded of other artists, and blown away by not only your take on them, but also your progression beyond them.

Thank you for this ear-opening concert, Planet B! :D

This ep is something of a moment. When I first played this track I knew I was in for something, but I didnt know how long. I was surprised that the mood was consistent yet retained its lush and vibrant flavor. After the first time around with this I had to go back and play it all over again and I still found myself loving this.

I mean what I am about to say, but I think this compares to the likes of Esem. It seems like it gets harder to capture those old kahvi moments that I remember, but they all came back when I listened to this. Thank You PB.

The PLanet Boelex concert in London at the NetAudio show was absolutely superb! Very engaging and highly inventive music making. The audio download is exceptional. This is someone who should be considered at the forefront of electronic/ambient music today. This music leaves the listener wanting more and more of the same. I eagerly await more of the same from Planet Boelex. Cheers!!
