#298: Mikael Fyrek / Echoes of friendship
M3U FMP3  Tracks : 4

A prolific producer indeed, Mikael Fyrek makes yet another welcome apperance on the label to ease in the Christmas season with some more classic Fyrek vibes. Deep basses and sentimental themes abound, in this small but sweet ep consisting of 4 tracks (playtime 20 mins).

You can't really say much more about the quality of Fyreks work, so just download, turn on, and switch off - to a higher conciousness.

Track of choice is number 2 - A kiss of starlight on my skin.

Mikael, your music is really interesting. And like they say, there's nothing worse in the world than being boring. Your music is really a bunch of nice colours with cherry flavour.
Even if I was sitting on a desert in hot sun and melting of heat, nothing would cheer me up more than a dessert made of chocolate ice cream coated with your music.
I really enjoy waiting for another release of yours.

A solid five stars. Awesome. Moving. Beautiful. Mikael has outdone himself. I haven't been made to *feel* this passionately since "In Riots of Color They Spin." This album is a very intimate portrait of two people: their lives, choices made, their last moments together, compressed into four movements.

There's a whole bunch more that I want to say about this record, so go read my review on LiveJournal (nightmorph.livejournal.com/tag/music).
