#178: Alexander Chereshnev / The Radiobox EP
M3U FMP3  Tracks : 3

Welcome back Alexander Chereshnev with a new ep. Similarly epic to his previous ep (#140, Unknown Way) carrying on from where he left off; high quality production, progressive electronic vibes with ambience (abandoned places), beat driven goodness with an ambient edge (silver train) and commercial quality lounge (radiobox). An ep that stands out in its quality, excellent suitably deserving of your playlist.

I have listened through this ep 4 times in the past 2 days. If I had to describe this ep in any way, I would say that it is "ayesteeyah" only with more structure. The atmosphere is so deep, spacious, and has a looming cold yet thoughtful aura about it that is just SO appealing. This will be stuck on my playlist for quite some time.

Abandoned Places: Slow starting and oh so ambient. The song plays out in the most organic way, rising and falling and harboring the most beautiful cacophany of sounds.

Silver Train: This song gave me the chills. The beginning starts out slow yet again but gains in speed and has the most amazing feelings just pouring out of it. A song to sit back, listen, and imagine too. A masterpiece.

Radiobox: Addictive electro stabs and breakbeats are the norm for this track. Although not as emotional as the previous tracks this still has some catchy leads and sounds that make for another listen.

Just what I needed after a week of exams and piles of classwork.

Second Track (Silver Train) is excellent! Dark mood is definitely the correct description of this ep!
