A) 50 girls (oldskool depechemode and beat)
Along with his other netlabels releases, 50 girls and underfire combine to make a fine assortment of audio offerings for all tastes. This time around with 50 girls he gives you a definate depeche mode / underworld offering with the disfunctional vocals with heavy effects. A track you can bounce along to, get your teeth into and generally enjoy - its not hard. LLAB004: Taajuus - Desire / Infection ![]() (Cover art by Lauri & Raimo Gratseff. Click to enlarge.) A) Desire (hard anthemic drum'n'bass)
Taajuus, our new artist hailing from Nokia in Finland brings us two trance-flavoured drum'n'bass tracks with rough breaks and big basslines. Desire is more breakbeat oriented track with melancholic pads and trancy melodies which collide with heavily chopped breakbeats and hard bassline. It's easy to hear that one of the Taajuus' biggest influences in drum'n'bass is Technical Itch. ![]() (Cover art by Joni Ylistö. Click to enlarge.)
B) Pacelift - Signal Analysis (rolling progressive breaks)
Now it's time for some big dub. The two finnish bass dealers, also known as Takomo, provide some heavy shit. Mary Wana is an intense breakbeat track with some dubby sounds and is aimed straight to the dancefloor. Sure man, i'll give you some of that stuff, brother. ![]() (Cover art by kowloon)
A) Kowloon - The Puzzles Last Piece (smooth vocal downtempo) Our second release offers you some downtempo grooves. The Puzzles Last Piece is a tune whose every ingredient could be described with the word "smooth". Smooth beats, pads, vocals, the whole atmosphere. I also have to add, that this has been one of my favourite tracks for the last few weeks, so believe me, it's worth downloading. ![]() (Cover art by Pekka Kokkonen. Click to enlarge.)
1) Pacelift - Blue Gold (atmospheric nu skool breaks) how to play ogg?
Winamp Classic does the trick under Windows, remember to install the full version because for some strange reason the light installer doesn't have the ogg vorbis plugin with it. Of course Winamp 3 has a native support for ogg as well, but believe us, Winamp Classic is much better.
For more information about software supporting ogg vorbis and information about the audio format itself, check the ogg vorbis website. contact?
