I kept 'Witick Island' (WI), 'Lynn Brook' and 'Somewhere In Time' (SIT), by Jeanine, Vae and 4TThieves, respecively.
Out of the 3, I listen to WI the least, and it was barely good enough to be kept. Unsure what's missing, but perhaps in part a more dynamic bassline.
When I first heard Lynn Brook it was at a distance (I was in another room), so my first reaction was, "Rap!?" But after I heard it the second time and on headphones, it was like, "Oh-- haha-- ok... Not bad, and funny too." Favourite part: "On the br-r-r-r."
SIT reminds me a little of a tune or more from the defunct Severed Heads. I have a couple of others from 4T, which are among my favourites.
