Happy Winter Solstice, Kahviheads. The days now get longer while the little tree and script snow somehow warm me up. <3

A belated welcome back, micksam7... Well, summer's finally in full swing under a July sky... No cute little Christmas tree but that's ok. I can wait.

#353: Curious Inversions / Schoolyard Crows
M3U FMP3  Tracks : 9

Curious Inversions (or some of you may remember this artist as 'Introspective') hasn't appeared on the Kahvi shores for quite some time but finally we've got a new album for your listening pleasure.

This nine track album could be classed as 'Tangerine Dream 2.0' as the tracks are heavily reminiscent of those heady electronic pioneers, especially track one, Unfamiliar Dream.

Curious Inversions creates drifting pieces of art, perfect for a dark room and some decent headphones on a Saturday evening, the rain falling outside the window. Swirling pads, heavy basses and minimal percussion punctuate the album, with addictive melodies that surpass even that of Tangerine Dream.

Tracks of choice: Restrictions, Fetter
